What Are You Living For?

I’m only twenty-two.
At this age, most people don’t have a clue;
Let me not say a clue..but in a sense don’t quite know what they should do.
Either party every weekend, or try and make it look like their some type of boss.

Seeking validation from those who don’t matter,
Or seeking validation from those who don’t even care.
Seeking validation from anyone before God..I wouldn’t dare.

Ask yourself what you are living for.
Do you know your passion, your gifts, your purpose here on earth?
Trust me, I wasn’t always like this, but God had it written out for me since birth.

I have a gift of encouragement.
To encourage and console the distressed,
To help those in need, and provide positive and practical steps.

I never want to stop working in my purpose or using my gifts; I ask God to prepare me everyday, and help me to continue make a shift.
I found out His plans are better than mine;
And I owe it all to Him; He who left the ninety-nine.

So when do you say enough is enough?
I won’t judge, I tried living life my way, too.
I once was astray;
It then took twelve bullets to hit our car, for me to get down to my knees and finally pray.

I want everyone to experience God’s love.
There’s nothing greater; nobody more faithful and forgiving.
But let me warn you that this Kingdom life isn’t sweet,
Although, I am a woman of God; with His love I can forever stand any heat.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus -Philippians 1:6
